QURAN WITH UNDERSTANDING

A lot of amongst us learn to read the Quran as children but never really learn to understand it. So being one of those people, few months back I decided to take a journey to understand the Quran, now the truth is, we all come to Quran for different reasons.

For example someone who was born a non muslim turns to Quran for some other purpose whereas a born muslim, like me would turn to it for another purpose ( Praise be to Allah ) who gives birth to this thought in our hearts that helps us get back to Him before its too late.

Quran is the word of Allah, and if you are making an effort to listen to what Allah is saying, how would it matter what the dunya is saying?

Like all humans we question the validity of what we are being taught. Its human nature but one does gets to a point where every other source seems useless for a solution then you are reminded that even if there's no one, there is Allah and Allah reminds you that there is a book of knowledge and guidance (Quran) that He sent down to you so that when everything else fails, you have Quran, You have Allah's words with you but one can implement teaching of Quran better when one tries to understand it and ponder upon its meaning.

Quran and its verse have this power of helping you in every problem or situation you are in, it does containes the solution to everything its just you who has to have (tawakkal).

A very effective way of implementing the knowledge of Quran in ones's life is to simply underline the verses that you want or need to apply in your life.

Abu Abdur Rahman as Sulami said, we were informed by those who used to teach us the Qur’an, Uthman Bin Affan, Ibn Masud, and others, that they would learn ten verses at a time from the Prophet SAWS and they would not go beyond them until they had learnt the knowledge and application within them. They said, so we learnt the Qur’an along with its knowledge and application at the same time.

Just a small part of day if, is dedicated to this. Trust me rest of the matters of dunya will eventually fall into place. 

Even if an individual follows your advice and shares your knowledge with someone new, you are gaining reward every step of the way and hence its called Sadaqah Jaariyah hence keep sharing:)
