THEY ARE GETTING OLDER

Seeing your parents getting older is terrifying, from they lifting you up when you could not reach the school bus handle, to you holding their hands while helping them climb the stairs and waiting at each step for them to not get tired, from they answering your every silly question with 'bari houjaogi tou samajh jaogi' to you looking at them now and realising 'bari hugayi hun aur samjh bhi gayi hun', from you not willing to spend time with them, to you considering them an accordion now because ammi abbu, when you look at me smile and breath, I can hear the notes:)
